    Hi there

I bought these two vases, separate sales, both feel heavy.

I noticed some similarities, the vast amount of bubbles, and also the base has a smooth matte finish, but with a small "chip". Does this indicate hand blown? Pics below.

Any other insight on either vase appreciated.

    Thanks!

Thanks! Does the finish on the base show they are machine made? Just so I know what to look for in future.

The "chip" in the ground portion of the base, just what didn't get ground away. When the piece was removed from the Punty Rod, the glass broke. Inn order to smooth the surface it was ground, with a grinding wheel, and they stopped before all the "chip" was removed. No, it was probably hand made. Yes, probably in China, yes, probably recently.
