Featured Help with unknown bracelet material

    First of all, I want to say how much I've enjoyed learning from so many knowledgeable people on this forum. I look forward to going through the "Antiquers Update" that's emailed to me each morning.

    I would like to ask for your help in identifying this material of this bracelet that came to me from my grandmother. The bracelet is a somewhat off white color. Because of the lack of uniformity of the carving, it doesn't appear to be manufactured. Each piece that makes up the bracelet is approximately 21mm X 26mm.They are held together by two pieces of elastic. There does seem to be a grain to the pieces.

    I would also be interested in the possible dating.
