    Hello,
I brought this figurine recently and I'm having difficultly placing a provenance and use for the item. (potentially a doll perhaps?)

I welcome all responses. Thank you.
    Kind regards,
    Antique enthusiast.

    Hi Antiqueen!

    Welcome to Antiquers!

Yes, half doll.....used on pincushions, brushes, lamps, etc.

I ask the same question as SIS....any marks?

Please show back and open bottom.

    Also, please choose Full Image......

    Agree with the above.

Germany made many, then Japan copied them.
I'm suspecting Japan on yours. To confirm we need to see the back bottom side or inside for marks.

Hello, thank you for all your comments!

The figure does'nt have any clear makers marking. Though there is a mark on the bottom left side that could've been.

Once again, thank you for all your input - I really appreciate it!

The photo is much too small.

As with Cluttered, I too think it's likely Japanese.

The picture of the mark is upside down and too small to make out.
