Help!

Hello! I happen to find this forum while desperately googling to find information about an item I just found. I spent my summers on an island off the coast of Maine, and the very old hotel on that island was furnished with VERY old furniture. I came across this chest of drawers at a thrift store yesterday and it touched my heart.....grabbed it because it reminded me of the hotel pieces from my childhood. Can anyone tell me anything about it?
