Hermes pot, vase, mug?

Hi All!
I bought this lil piece but have no idea what it is - a vase, mug, pot or what...
Is it vintage?
The stamp looks shop-specific, so maybe it was an element of the shop's decor?

I'd think it was just an iteration of the HERMÈS carriage logo which was introduced in the 1950s. (That would be your earliest possible date.) And I'd think a retail, not merchandising, item. Here's a (poor quality) photograph off the internet of a HERMÈS box with the same logo.

It looks very much like part of a bathroom set that's currently available, here is a link to a set on Amazon but I see it's also on Aliexpress.

No, no. I wouldn't assume it's a fake at all. It appears to be a genuine vintage piece. And it may well have been copied.
