    I found a Frederick L Hicks, Captain USMC, listed in the 1920 edition of the Navy and USMC Registry Book. But without further info - age, birthplace, etc. that is as far as I could get. I don't have the Fold3 access that would yield more results.

    Here’s the only good candidate I found on the grave site using Bakers’ name as input. An obit for this person should tell if he’s our Marine.

    Thx, so that eliminates him, looking at that vet card, this Particular vet could never have been a captain. Back to looking for Bakers’ USMC Captain.

    The Register says he resigned his commission on 17 June 1919.
