    Hello,

We just inherited a mid century Heywood Wakefield table with bamboo accents and a sliding leaf. Its a blond colored wood, in near pristine condition.

Just looking for a little insight into whether or not this is of any significant value.

    Thanks guys!

Oh I apologize!! Im new to all of this. Are there any sites you might be kind enough to provide that would be more appropriate?

You're in a fine place. He means we don't usually give exact dollar amounts, but some of us may be able to give you a range for different parts of the country.

    Can you upload a photo?

Probably not bamboo but rattan. There is some demand for this but not as great as for the all wood MCM stuff.

Its 99% wood. There is just some accents in the upper corners of the legs. Rattan wrapped around the legs. I will upload a photo that shows it more accurately.

Under the hinges, is where you pull out the support board that holds up the fold over leaf. It goes from a 4 person table, to a 6 person table. Its a pull out/leaf design I've never seen in a table before. It also has a hand painted logo on the underside of the table.

I believe it is a burnt in logo.

That looks like a table from the Ashcraft line. Do you have any chairs to go with it?

There are chairs that came with it, but it's hard to tell if they are part of a set because they don't appear to match. They're currently in storage. But after closer examination, the logo is, indeed, burnt in.
