Hi from Norway

Hi there, i just found this wonderful forum, and are very happy to already having made my first 2 posts; one for a piece of jewellery, and one for a very old book. My story is maybe a bit peculiar, as i used to have a small anique shop in the 1970's, then one of Norways largest galleries in 1982-83, exhibiting the best international paitners for the public in my city of Stavanger. Many items have been stored since those times, and now i my work is in a totally different field, as i help cancer patients to find cutting edge treatments all over the world. But the interest is there, and as my dad passed away recently, i have to sort a number of issues and objects that i have forgotten all about, and at the same time I am setting up a small vintage online shop, as a pure hobby project, but who knows what may happen in the future? I will probably be a frequent guest here, and ask many stupid questions for all you professionals in here, but i hope to learn and one day i may even be able to help members here in return for all the help i am hoping to get!? I'd love a return visit to your beautiful country of Norway some day......I did get as far north as Narvik though, many years ago.

I, too, would love a return visit to Norway. I haven't been there in many years, but I do recall being in Stavanger for a bit - not as long as I would have liked - in the early 1990's.
