If the chain is silver and you want to know about hallmarks then post in the silver forum. You might try Antique discussion forum for other queries about it.
Of course Have you seen the pictures? Any thoughts on the chain ? can’t see any hallmarks excepts a worn “t” on clasp, However one thing I do know is the clasp is magnetic the rest of it isn’t
