Hindu carving, bali, thai?

    image.jpg Not Exactly tribal, but recently i found this large carving out of what looks to be a teak log.

    It measures 3 1/2 feet tall. I was hoping it was of Kalki, but doubt it after looking closer.


    I'm not sure exactly where it comes from and i dont believe its a factory carving. It looks very old, possibly just weathered mid century, but i suspect much older.


    Does anyone here have knowledge on the subject or know where i should turn to find out more?

    Gee.....to me it looks like a mix of cultures.
    The guy with the rake doing the sand lines.....kinda Japanese......
    The headdresses ...look Thai...
    OK....I'm confused....:confused::confused::confused:

    It's nice , but I can't say it's old.
