    Very cute brooch.
I think the fruit is wax? Amazing it has survived!
Is this likely 1920s with the trombone clasp?
    C2.5” long
    Thanks for any thoughts :)

I've had baskets of flowers like that too, complete with trombones. My thinking has been 30s and French.

Thanks, I wasn’t too far off then :smug:
Are your flower baskets wax too?

One is glass, that's the one I kept. The other was a sort of moss and wax thing, nowhere near as good a state as yours.

What a neat piece! Do you think it’s silver?

@KSW, LOVE your little horse & cart with flowers!! I took your 3rd image down and 'digitally' tried to lighten it up....enlarging didn't help, but de-saturating any color out of it did....a bit....you have it in hand, so you can tell better than I, especially if you have a good eye and a loupe.....it looks to me like there's small numbers and writing in several places.....if you want me to, I can mark where, unless you're pretty sure you DO or DON'T see anything!!!!!

I don’t know as my silver acid has gone off and stopped working. It does look like it but it could also be base metal. When I get new acid I will update.

I like the cauliflower on mine with the green raffia stuff around it.

I'm never buying 2 bottles together again, had to throw away 3/4 of one and a full of the other

Don't know if I got a bad batch when I bought some, but doesn't seen to last well at all

Mine usually last about a year, but now I have a miracle bottle that keeps giving.;) I think I've had it for 4-5 years, and it is still good.:jawdrop:
