13x15 inches, glass front, local Charity shop buy years ago. I bought it for the frame really but it’s nice someone had a go painting the horses. I cannot find artist MED. I didn’t remove the back so maybe I should to see if there’s any more info.
The framers are still in business (more as a restoration business) so I’ve emailed them to see if they can tell me anything about it from the number on the back.
Any thoughts please? Would you reject the painting and reuse the frame?

The painting looks like a parent who lovingly framed their teen's painting. Horses are about as hard to draw/paint as hands and feet so it's a tough subject to try! Personally, I wouldn't keep it. That shouldn't mean much to anyone else though...you keep/display art because you like it and that's what matters. :D

Absolutely charming. Very likely the work of a young, untrained artist but... one not without talent. Could well be a copy of another work. I would display as is and enjoy.

Nice to see an old haystack, we have the large rolls often covered in black plastic now. I’ll keep it unless I have something better to put in the frame or if Levetons tell me something interesting about it. Thanks:)

I like how the colt floats in air. Completely untethered by a weighted shadow.

You can tell what the arist was trying to do, without having the training to actually get there. I bet someone would like having it.

Just had a reply from the framers, they could only tell me it was framed by them in 1933. Pity, I might have found a relative who might have wanted it.
