Featured HOT PLATE

    The plate has an onion pattern. It measures about 11 inch in diameter.
    I am guessing that the metal is suppose to hold hot water so the bowl will keep the food warm. There are no marks on the metal and the lid unscrews.

    I didn't spend a lot of time at the link offered by bercrystal, but all of those can't be by WMF...or can they? Mine has a couple minor bump-dents, an' eBay ignored it for over a month...so I'm forced to keep it. I cannot recall what others sold for, but not a lot I'm thinkin'...Bakersgma found WMF in silverplate makers, but there's no evidence (on mine, anyway) of it ever having been plated.

    I've seen lots of these here. They don't sell for a vast amount.
