I have four of them. Three have a floral design and one is very plain. They are all on their original cards. They are not as ornate as many that I've seen and certainly not Victorian because the cards don't appear to be that old. Could they be '30's to possibly '50's? DSC00823.JPG

Wherever kyra goes, I go, most of the time. I'm following her here for sure. I can't tell how large it is. Lingerie pins are tiny; this must be a bit larger, like the one in the Worthpoint photo?

Sorry Bronwen, I answered you earlier but I wasn't signed in so naturally my response did not post. They are 1 inch long.

So Kyrtango--I have a set of lingerie pins (it says they are on their commercial backing card). If you don't mind me asking, how were these worn? Mine look 20th century so can't surely be to do with wearing corsets or chemises, right?

They were worn to make sure your undergarments, like chemises, didn't show. Just like people wear small safety pins to make sure bra straps don't show. Although some people want them to show, so no pins.;)

Mystery solved--thanks so much! I wear mine--which have lovely detailing--like brooches on the collars of white shirts and really love how they look.

I am sure they look lovely, and the good thing is, they come in pairs.:) They also look good together at an angle on the lapel of a jacket.
