How old is this button?

    Well, I'm going to guess.

    I'm guessing 1960s -70s.
    Basing this on the fact that it looks like freeform figures in some sort of contortion display. 60s-70s was when all the "touchy-feely-free your soul" groups were the big thing.

    I don't know as I'm not really a button person but I do have "the Big Book of Buttons" so if no one else comes up with it I'll go have a look when I get the chance.

    I have been trying to decide if it's just a floral/foliage pattern or something more. Maybe it's because DH plays the lute but it sort of looks like a lute to me and maybe sheet music.

    Just to follow up. I pulled out my button book to see if I could find this button but as far as I can tell it's not in there.
