How old is this French mirror back console table?

    How old is this French mirror back console table? Worth fixing up?

    Wood looks new and have like compressed board base.

    have hand cut Dovetail but it’s also nailed in -.-

    brass parts looks like hand poured. I got it cus I am a sucker for brass/ bronze fittings

    Looks like a newish repro to me. They still make stuff like this for the middle eastern market. Was it in a flood ?

    Found another similar one from google image.
    yeah what I couldn’t figure out is why hand made it 100% but does such an crappy ugly job ‍♂️

    I think if it was a true Empire piece the ormolu would be more skillfully sculpted and veneer more highly figured.
