How old is this plate and who made it?

    How old is this plate and who made it? Looks like 1800s French to me…thx

    Gee, I dunno for sure, but that "B" and pattern number look very British to me. Is that gilding or brown enamel on the inner rim of the plate? That might have been added later. Made sometime in the 19th c. Hopefully others will chime in.
