    Got it from Hampton ny.
    Looks like walnut veneer
    Have hand forged iron nails
    Unsure exact age?     Overhere the style would be Biedermeier, ca 1840.

    And I think you mean 18th and 19th century. 17th and 18th century would be 1600s and 1700s.

    As above. Called variously neo-Classical or Empire. Walnut veneers and solids, ca. 1830s.
