I won’t be able to help but I’m sure those with knowledge in this area will appreciate a photo of the bottom of the vessel. EDIT: BTW, it’s not a teapot. Possibly a hot water pot?

Yes, definitely an Ottoman style pitcher for water, milk, etc.. It is probably a little later than the Ottoman period, which ended in 1922. My guess is 1930s-40s.
