Anyone know the Hoyle in question? Nice cuff. Can’t find him/her. 5EEBA34E-1644-4F72-9133-E0903C71E582.jpeg F1D45DD7-1619-452B-A484-A736A04B0319.jpeg

I actually didn’t see this. Thanks. I had in mind that this was a much more modern piece. Figured maybe 70s-2000 or so. I did consider that “sterling” isn’t spelled out as much in the recent past as it was way back in the day. I figured since it was likely a small producer that “sterling” being spelled out could just be their preference though. Do you think it could be as old as that seller has referenced? While I figured it was a smaller producer I hoped the work was good enough that there would be a record of it.

No, I think a much newer piece. Suspect seller was dating based on the traditional motif.

There are hundreds of people who still use Sterling jewelry stamps today,$10 at Amazon and many other suppliers.

I mentioned that it’s not being used as much as it once was, which is true. I didn’t say it’s not being used or that you couldn’t purchase a stamp.
