    I’ve got a Chinese bangle/handle/round thing with that spotty glass. Not saying it is as I’m clueless, just an observation.
    The metal ( if that’s what it is?) splotch on the cab is intriguing, can you get an in focus shot of it?

    The bug is a winged scarab. 20s Egyptian Revival and a very nice one. Green looks like decent Czech glass, 1910s ish.

    Kind of has a pyrite look and not all at the same time. Maybe they melted metal with the glass?

    So the bug is likely not Czech?

    The bug may well be Czech, a great deal of Egyptian Revival was made there.

    That cab does look as though there's some kind of pyrite frit or something in it.

    That Leo Popper brooch is stunning! Both the undulating metalwork with the Renaissance-inspired swirls as well as that wonderfully unusual cab.:happy:

    I would have thought German, but it turns out it is Austrian-American:

    "Immigrating from Austria in the late 1800’s, Leo Popper made manufactured buttons in both black and colored glass. Gorgeous veins of silver run through his colorful buttons, creating a unique look to his glass.

    Leo Popper & Sons operated for 91 years as manufacturers of glass in New York City. Their buttons and ornaments can be seen today in well-known edifices such as The Cathedral of St. John the Divine and the Washington Cathedral. Popper also provided glass for L. C. Tiffany & Co., as well as others who worked in iridescent glass in that period."

    More on Leo Popper, the technique of your cab is called "silvered glass":

    This article has him born near Gablonz, the famous costume jewellery town in Bohemia:
    "Austrian Leo Popper came to New York as a child in the 1840’s. After a stint gold mining and running a saloon in California, he returned to New York and did what many young people dream of today. He gathered a group of peers and founded a start-up artisan glass factory in Brooklyn. Why glass? Popper was originally from the Bohemia region of Austria, a village near Goblanz (Jablonec nad Nisou), a centuries-old center for glass and jewelry making."

    Certainly a must-have, but probably difficult to find on this side of the pond. But you never know....;)
    I'm sure @KSW will find one.:playful::kiss:
