I bought a couple more Oil paintings. need some help.

The First one is by Marjorie Sharpe. i believe she was a listed California artist. This is a large un-framed Oil on canvas 22" x 28"
The other is also oil on canvas signed Crane. I couldn't find any information on this artist, so maybe just sofa art? any ideas?

Id say you called it right on the second one,Mikey. But that first one is really well done and very pretty !

 

I'm so afraid to buy art because I would end up with it sitting around. You do very well.

 

The boats are imaginary, the rig and rigging pure artistic license.

The lubberly state of the vessels, notably the nearer one, is a disgrace.
The vessels appear to be moored or anchored by the head, they should be lying head to the wind but the pennant says otherwise.

I'd send the artist to kiss the gunner's daughter.

 

Well what did you expect for $7.00.
I am sure I can get more than that for it with the oak frame.

small fruit still life. but wow on the asking price.
