I'd like to do this, imagining someone reading today's stories a hundred years from now.
    And would they believe them.

The house is gone. Last trip to it was on Monday. Demolition has been scheduled.
Like the Mad Hatter I took everything I could possibly take out of there, and there was still so much left behind. Sad, very sad.
I now have to sort through it all :jawdrop: but I keep you in mind and set aside things that may be of interest. I can't keep it all, so yes I will part

A beautiful neighborhood. The woman was a Teacher for over 40 years. Her Husband, Brother, Uncle & Father were all Military. I was told that the Uncle buried a box full of military items including medals somewhere on the property, but the weather prevented me from doing a good search. Heartbreaking, but I tried.

The estate this scrapbook was found was built in the 1930's. I found the original floor plans. The articles in this book date in the 20's and I can only assume from the location [Passaic Cty. NJ] that this was where the family lived prior.
This name is written under the Thanksgiving post. 'Miss Minnie Ball'
I have yet to look her up.

It took over 3 years to empty this house. I took everything I could possibly save, including the walls of the 'breezeway' which was covered in Pecky Cypress wood. The light fixtures, hardware, tools, even these 2 very heavy ornate Iron doors that covered the circuit box. And now I'm freakin out because I am CONSUMED with this hoard, and the holidays are coming! I don't regret saving these treasures, but please, if anyone is interested or in search of something, please ask me?
It's the big stuff I don't know what to do with.
