    Hello

    Possibly the most random thing I've bought... I thought it was teak but it's some kind of pastry mouse from Germany!
    Has anyone seen anything like this before?

    No never seen one.

    Possibly that word is Gruss, with an old-style Germanic double S... "Gruß"
    and it might say "Gruss aus Hameln," greetings from Hamelin.

    Yes, we had them as kids, You could get them in bakeries. For some reason I think Celle, Germany was where we got ours, a lovely historic town.

    Celle near Hodenhagen.:hilarious::hilarious::hilarious: every time I pass the exit on the Autobahn to the north I have to keep attention that I don't fall out of the car.
