Featured I honestly almost set it back down

Some finds just can’t wait until I get home. I’m in the parking lot! Too pretty to not share with everyone. I was struggling to figure out the name on the bottom and finally made out WJ Feeley. I quickly found another one and realized there’s probably another mark… saw the good mark on the cup!

 

Oh wow ! I wonder if the stones are real ???

Doubtful, from what I can tell the base looks plated but the cup is sterling! So my guess is the stones are not real.

I would have those stones tested, you never know

 

I have a diamond tester at home, I tried just to be safe, but no luck, they just didn't look right for many reasons (real diamonds would have a much better setting, and it would be highly improbable to have real stones on a plated base). Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining with the purchase at all

 

Oh my. You scored on that one. I bet the pricers saw the rhinestones and figured it was junk. Not exactly.... The clear stones look like glass from here, no surprise.

For now I plan to admire it, nothing more and nothing less. It’s a wonderful addition to my collection that’s always hoping for eclectic contributions.
