I knew it was a Jewish something! my first thought was a mezuzah, but then it's the wrong shape for that!

 

You earn your keep daily! No marks that are visible in the photos available. It's up for sale on ebay for $80 for everything in the picture, silver weight of it all is around 150 grams so basically spot assuming that item isn't filled with something. I'm guessing the index finger of this pointer is broken?

 

the finger could be the little stub that's right at the tip....
there should be some marking on it...as most were / are sterling.....
but I can't see it....
if silver & not broken...it's worth the $80 right there...
I'm not crazy about the hole below the hand....but maybe a screw to attach the cast hand to the barrel...???
