I thought this was old, but now,? skookum doll

    I had hope this was an apple head francisfeet.jpg francisf.jpg francisb.jpg doll, Have no idea why? except the face is a little different with glass eyes, however on unearthing it recently I discovered body is a toilet paper roll. ,lol.well that blew that theory, If anyone can give me an approx age Ill be forever grateful. francis.jpg francis.jpg

    Thanks Judy, I think the Skookum may be put together, Face looks very similar to MF Woods, only thing that is throwing me is that toilet roll tube,

    Skookum dolls aren't really my thing, but this one looks consistent with many I've seen, and I wouldn't be concerned about the toilet paper tube. These dolls were not usually made to very high standards, just for sale to tourists, and this one looks to me to be genuine, circa 1950, as a guess.
