I would like to learn more about this basket

I plan to sell it on ebay and would like to learn who might have made it and what it's value would be to a collector. It stands a foot tall with the handle and it 15x8.5 inches across

    komokwa The Truth is out there...!

    this is a hard market / gathering basket for me to place.
    at 1st look, i'd suggest looking towards an Appalatchian white oak basket......but further research needs be done..
