Hi I have what appears to be an early 20th century iron bistro table. Can someone identify the casting mark? Seems that it was marked Paris when I bought it but now I don't see that. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks. Picked it up off craigslist a couple years ago and was wondering. Some of these old tables are more expensive than I thought.

from the form of the feet rather art deco to mid 30s. problem with these often is that the casting forms were used over a long period, so better go by the table surface. is it stone ? could you show a pice from the underside ?

All cast iron. I believe it was poorly painted black some years before I got it as the paint has a big run in one spot on the pedestal. Top was worn like this when I got it. If it had a marble top it is gone now. I suspected early deco, clean straight lines but also flower decorations on the base.

I have casually studied antiques for decades but I never knew Vuitton made furniture. Learn something new every day.

It’s difficult to see the details of your marks, but you can probably tell better than us looking at photos. Please update us what you can find out.

Looks like "Paris" below. I knew I had seen it somewhere on it. May be a copy since it's not stamped in, it's raised. I'll have to do more research.
Looks like there are raised examples

Guess it's worth more than the hundred I paid for it maybe. Using it as a plant stand.
