    Hello friends

I would like to receive your help to identify and date these wonderful cups with their saucers, in oriental porcelain.
They have a particularity, the porcelain is very thin, translucent, almost transparent against the light, look at the pictures for your reference.

Thank you all for your valuable help

Just from the translucency, I'm going to guess - Japan pre WWI.
It is just a guess. Wait for other responses

Ok thanks, on the web i find something about "egg porcelain" but it's full of different info and they give me more confusion than before.
I wait for other comments, ok, thanks a lot in the meantime :)

I thought eggshell porcelain was Chinese. So in trying to verify, I see that eggshell porcelain like everything else is being made today.

My original thought was Japanese, but maybe it is newer Chinese.

    They are very pretty.

In my opinion it does not look like Imari.

And you might be right, just my opinion it resembles imari. But if you really want to know what it is, try the forum ( bidamount.com) it's a site that only caters to Asian porcelain and antiquities. You should be able to find your answer there.

    Gianluca -
As I suspected what comes up as eggshell Japanese porcelain in the pre WWII transluscent china, which are pretty common patterns. Geisha girl, Mt Fuji/pagoda etc.

Notice the banding on the rims of yours, the bright colors on the almost pure white porcelain (which the Japanese isn't), also the colors used.
I really suspect yours is newer Chinese eggshell.

This is all only my opinion. I am not an expert in this area.
@Asian Fever would appreciate your thoughts.
