I'd like to know something about this little piece of glass

I'm not even certain I should call it a vase. Maybe it's a pot. It is greener than images I looked at online for green milk glass or jadeite.
Honestly, for all I know it could have been made last year.
There's no abrasion or wear to suggest it was lidded.
I just really like it !
Can anyone tel me anything about it ?
(it's 5 1/4" tall. The bottom is smooth with an off-cen 20170509_194741.jpg ter dimple)
Thanks in advance. Any help is always appreciated, probably more than you imagine. 20170509_191907.jpg 20170509_192007.jpg

Although I don't know anything about your piece of glass, the top of the glass suggests to me that there could have been a lid that fit over it like a sleeve. Possibly made of metal/chrome. Just saying...

Czechoslovakian shape. Usually seen in mottled colors. Have not seen that solid green before.
Might be a lamp shade and not a vase.
Wait for other glassies to chime in.

Oh as Mary said - a lid is missing. They made flower frog tops, that is probably what it is.

Yes, the top made me suspicious, so I looked very closely but saw not even a scratch on the top. I think the owner must have dispensed with the lid/frog from the beginning.

I'm no expert, but my first thought was a pot for honey, perhaps missing the top.

I'll go with that, but what decade or country ? I'm still looking.

Oh, sorry. Between the wars and Bohemian/Czech.
