Have a pewter? Miniature coffee/tea set. On the base of the pot is an impressed griffin/angel. Thought might be German (ie angel) but not totally convinced. Any help appreciated 583AAB0C-E8C3-4A92-B1A8-380CBFF39D2E.jpeg 8B93AFE8-23C5-404E-89BB-DE600D70CD5E.jpeg 14259091-7EE9-45A8-AC5E-359674FDE95E.jpeg 14259091-7EE9-45A8-AC5E-359674FDE95E.jpeg 14259091-7EE9-45A8-AC5E-359674FDE95E.jpeg 8B93AFE8-23C5-404E-89BB-DE600D70CD5E.jpeg 583AAB0C-E8C3-4A92-B1A8-380CBFF39D2E.jpeg

'Spread Eagle' with a crown over his head and 'M' on one side of his feet and 'D' on the other side.....a foreign Drs Insignia?? BUT then being on the bottom of a Coffee Set, probably not....just guessing, but maybe German as you suggested! Others should be along!!

I see where your coming from but the star is only 5 pointed. I suspect that the creator of the set wanted to give it the Turkish kasbah effect. Unless it was made for the Turkish tourist trade.
