Featured ID mark on pendant & ring

My daughters friend sent me these pictures of a pendant and ring, trying to figure out the mark. She was told they were German and the material thats engraved is amber. Dont have it in hand so any help or info would be appreciated. both have the same marking 925 etc.

 

I tried tackling this because I do see these when trawling for cameos. They're not properly cameos, they're reverse intaglios. Searching for amber cameo & amber intaglio turns them up. The only brand name I could find was Irena Wastag, & this does not look like the style of her designs.

No, please don't make more than one post for a single item. It just gets confusing & answers get separated. As long as titles give a clue to what's under consideration, most people will find things they know about/are interested in no matter which forum they are in. If we put every piece of jewellery with silver in it in the silver forum as well, the site would be overwhelmed! This is the right place for it.

 

Just got a hint from another site that it may be from Greek (some museum) some similarities but not convinced. still searching. Didnt know the extent of the use of amber in that part of the world.
