    i'd like to id this artist and date this painting, that portray a clown.

    I like it so much

    Can't stand clowns ever since one stuck his face into mine at a circus when I was a small girl .. I screamed my head off and my mother had to buy me a cornet to shut me up.. :). That being said the picture is very well painted and realistically drawn ... Joy.

    Yes, maybe, because I bought it next auction house in Pescara (Abruzzo) Italy.
    It was a lot of paintings, and I noticed soon this one that gave me the input to bid.

    Which period you will attribute circa ?
