Hello again. I just scheduled a listing for some claret glasses (with helpful tips from you folks). Feeling rusty, I wanted to wait to start in case I decide to make changes.

I think my second glass is a champagne flute. It measures 7 3/8" tall.

The problem is that the R site shows two versions of this glass at 7 3/8" (Tall Iced Tea) or 7 1/4" (Fluted Champagne). I'm thinking it's the latter. But why the measurement difference?

PS. I found a sold flute on eBay at the same height as mine—7 3/8"—but it measures 2" diameter at top, while mine is 2 1/2". I'm confused.

How many ounces does it hold? For what it is worth, when I think of champagne flutes I think straight sides.

Just checked my Waterford stemware catalog. All the forms are identified by ounces, next to a shape silhouette.

    I have Waterford's "Lismore." My stemmed iced teas are 6 1/2" tall, 3 5/8 diameter 12 oz; Flute champagne: 7 1/18" tall, 2 1/2 diameter, 4 oz; Clarets: 5 7/8" tall, 3" diameter, 6 oz.
