Some time ago i got this oriental looking tray /serving plate (51cm /20") and try to figure out the mystery.

I found a pictogram which looks like a sun a few scratches that might mean somenting to a trained eye and an arabic text that might reveal the name of the maker.

Could you plz help me to ID this plate? Any idea where, when and what material is it made? 20241127_115447_copy_756x923.jpg 20241127_115506_copy_756x915.jpg 20241127_115513_copy_1000x675.jpg 20241127_115518_copy_849x756.jpg 20241127_115555_copy_896x728.jpg 20241127_115602_copy_1000x646.jpg 20241127_115725_copy_605x545.jpg 20241127_115806_copy_605x596.jpg

Thank you both ! Did moroccan marked their items? Is the sun or flower shaped a moroccan hallware?

If the Arabic were legible, it probably says something like "Made in Fes."

Moroccans assay and mark silver and gold, but this is neither.;)

I do think the flower is a specific mark, which probably means it is older. How old or any other details, I don't know.

Thanks AJ. I'll keep looking for the pictogram...

While I was looking for other clues, I think I found another pentagram. Am I seeing correctly? Is this a pentagram or just scratches or letters?

The last picture iabove has some pretty deep scratches and metal melting... although I can't see the red color, could it be made of brass alloy...

Yes, bottom word on there says "فاس", which is Fez. I can't make out the rest.
