please see images below from Sabre!

    Good morning,

Can anyone identify this table? All information is appreciated. The top is inlayed copper and the column accents are bronze.

    Thank you,
    Derek

    Hi Derek - welcome :)

    Interesting table.

We try to insert an image into posts with as much data, like dimensions, as we can.

Usually, you can right click on an image and grab the image location, then use the "mountain" button above to insert the url.

But it looks like offerup has put the kibosh on that. Do you know how to add a screenshot?

I have several images though the forum said the file size was to large. Sabre was kind enough to insert the images for me.

    Are you on a phone?

I reduced that screenshot using toolwiz. The magic number, for me, anyway, is 900px.

    I don't know how @sabre123 did theirs.

Odd table. Don't think it is really Victorian but would need more pics to verify. I am getting a more 70s- 80s classical retro vibe from this due to the copper top. Is it acid etched?

Have to agree with Brad on this one. Would be interesting to see the underside of the base.

Copied the image and pasted into Photoshop. Saved locally, and then uploaded. :)

I believe it to be art nouveau 1870-1890 Victorian.

I think its more 40s-50s retro . Of course knowing the size would help. :)

Agreed. "Coffee" tables were not really a "thing" in the Victorian era(s). Centre tables were, but they are higher than what we term coffee tables.

I won’t have the dimensions until this weekend. All I know is it’s a heavy two man lift.

I would classify it as a center table over a coffee table as it is quite large

    Foyer table?

Ask seller for photos of bottom and joinery. What do they mean by inlay? It looks like an acid etched copper or ___ design.

    Interesting table, @D1raq

I don't see Victorian either. And certainly not Art Nouveau. More likely 1980s or later.

The difference has more to do with height than with general size. A centre (foyer?) table would be 26" to 30" high, while a coffee/cocktail table would be more in the neighborhood of 18". A tea table may fall in between, but is usually on the same order as a centre table. (not suggesting that this is a tea table - much too heavy and "stationary")

I concur that this is not in the styles generally associated with Victorian or Art Nouveau.

I will have the dimensions this evening. Approximately knee height of a 6ft man.
