My Mum and I found this stool/end table at an Antique shop today and we're having trouble identifying it and what year it's from. Can anyone help?

    Welcome to Antiquers TashD.

It would be helpful if you would edit your photo and choose Full Image!

Thank you....so much easier to view now!!

You should take a photo of the bottom and a direct shot of the top.

I'm thinking "new", but wait for others.

I`m getting an Asian feel to this.
Its a table not a stool.
I would describe it as an occasional table, similar to a Drum Table but without the side drawers.

    Welcome to the forum Tash.
I love your little table. While it has an Asian feel, as Davey said, it also has a European feel. My guess is Orientalist, a Western style inspired by Oriental (including Middle Eastern) styles.
Orientalist furniture was made in the 19th and early 20th century.
A famous Orientalist furniture designer was Carlo Bugatti, father of car manufacturer Ettore Bugatti.
This is a wall mirror by Bugatti, a combination of Middle and Far Eastern styles. The colours remind me of your table:

This one is a stumper to me. Have never seen anything quite like it. My best guess would be Anglo-Indian.

OP is in the UK, I believe. What an odd thing,it's an allsorts. The top decoration doesn't look right for Anglo Indian, to me. Base, yes.
