On the foot are a series of confusing marks:

"DOULTON'S O" impression. I cannot find any reference to this.
"X20" impression. This appears to be a Royal Lambeth reference for years
    1 to 1500 1883-1886. X20 is probably 1883.
"*4061" I am not sure whether if the * this is a "Q" or an lower case "a".
There is symbol, perhaps an "overlaid "JH" or HJ".
This is a Burslem Mark which is seemly 1886 - 1902, although it seems to be without a ring around the central mark.

I don't know the size, although I think it is quite small. It is damaged with both handles having been snapped off, chipped and badly stuck on again.

Unless the price is radically reduced from the £20 being asked for it, I am not inclined to buy it, except for its antiquity.

I would appreciate some help sorting them out. Thanks.

I have found a reference to "DOULTON'S" on www.theoldstuff.com as starting use in 1882, but doesn't reference as being either Burslem or Lambeth.

Lambeth mark, Lambeth numbering and Lambeth made, I reckon. Burslem did finer chinas and porcelains at the time this was made. I can’t remember who the decorator is. I’ll go think. That O might be an assistant.
