I was wondering if anyone could help identify this bronze Buddha statue. I am interested in finding out which Buddha this is, what the inscription on the back says and the origin of this statue. Also, if anyone could help with if it looks to be a reproduction or an antique.

    Thank you very much,
    Art

Charming figure, though I don't know if that's the word to use in a religious context. Thought I found examples searching Guanyin, but they didn't lead anywhere. Try Kuan Yin as well.

There are a lot of seated female Budda's out there...I'd look towards Tibet for this sweet lady.

Your figure is Chinese, the mark says "Great Qing Qianlong made", which would be 1736-1795, but that does not mean that it is really that old. Could you show a picture of the bottom please?

That's what the guy on AR said, that many Chinese marks are just placed on newer items...to HONOR older works and times....
    seems shady to me............
