Does anyone know when this desk was produced based on the stamp?

I didn't see this logo on the Sligh Furniture Company history page - there were very few examples. But the timeline says that Sligh bought Lowry in 1940 so it has to be after that.

Very traditional. I would guess 40s; in fact, if I hadn't seen Bakers' post I might have believed an even earlier date.

Any idea how much you might sell it for?

depends on where you are ....who your client could be , how you would try to sell it....the shipping or lack thereof.....and even with all that info.....any suggested price could be too high or too low..:wideyed::wideyed::wideyed::wacky:

We would be under $250.00 asking price at retail here in my semi-rural Midwest location. Probably would end up selling at under $200.00 1/3 of that asking price (or less) at auction or other wholesale venues. You might do better in a larger city location.
