    Hi friends,

    I seem to have a polished modern rendition of the Egyptian Goddess Bastet made of Green Marinace Granite. Or is it something else and/or older?

    I've found similar, but nothing exactly like it. It's about 11 x 6 x 4 and 6.5 lbs.

    I can use some help! Thx!

    The bottom. There seem to be some images or scripts carved in, but it's hard to make anything out.

    I’ve got a cat head like that. Bought as a souvenir in Cairo.

    Love the last photo, dude.:cat::happy:
    Your Bastet is a nice souvenir from Egypt.
    The one in the listing is 100% fake of course.:mad: There is no way they could export it from Egypt legally, and a genuine ancient Bastet of that size would be worth far more.:rolleyes:

    Ebay is notorious when it comes to fake antiquities and items sold as ancient that couldn't possibly be that old.:(
