Featured I'm in japan!

Hi all been in kyoto a couple of days. hope it's ok if I post some images of some of the things I buy. any jewellery kyoto handicraft still there wonderful selection of prints and damascene to be seen to be believed.
anyway found a wonderful little antique shop the size of a small bedroom and that's being generous. I could have spent hours bit here's just a couple of things I picked up.
lovely couple of knives the owner said early to mid 1900s going to get translated by my host over here

 

this little medicine box still sealed after 60 odd years

 

1900s tape measure about 40mm across

 

my fave small 60mm across sterling silver apparently bowl given out in ww2 he said someone else might know getting it translated later apologies for pictures 5am over here and relying on my phone

On the second woodblock - appears to have been cut out of something (a book? maybe?) I say that because of the printing on the back and the fact that the right side has no margin. Do they both have that printing on the back?

 

yes both do and ink showing as well bought others to will post when I get back for. 12 and 22 dollarsthought was pretty good

 

found the book I believe was looking in a print shop and he has a book in a display case exactly the same size print as mine 280000 yen for the book

same guy he has a display cabinet of all the erotic collectibles from year gone by he has a kutani plate with an erotic image on it with a creature on it a bit pricey but we will see
