I'm pretty sure this is considered pottery....

Can anyone help me identify the pattern or maker? I can't for the life of me make out the signature..

 

It is what is referred to as studio pottery made by thousands of small potters across the country and virtually impossible to trace to a maker and it wouldn't affect value if you could.

 

So I could list this a Studio Pottery as the description? Anything else I should know? Like what its made of or what style pattern it is?
I'm sorry, I know nothing about pottery. And I have a lot of it.

I hate to say this, but if I were you I wouldn't bother. It's studio pottery by an unknown, and... it's brown. There's no pattern name, and the colors aren't bright enough or interesting enough to gather interest in their own right. This might sell, but shipping will cost so much that the plate itself would sell for peanuts. I'd donate it somewhere or put a plant on it.
