imari colored platter, is it English in origin?

    Gee, I dunno. On first impression, it seems to be mimicking the blue and orangey-red of some mid 19th British wares (ie, gaudy Dutch, gaudy welsh), but the red stamped 22 on the base makes me think Japanese possibly. Others may know more.
