Indonesian Brass salt cellars

Good evening
Found these at a market today. I thought they seemed antique and not the mass produced Indian ones. The one have birds and other dancers on it. Any information will be welcome.

They aren't Indonesian, but Indian. They look like they could could be part of a spice or betel set.

There are Indonesian (Javanese) engraved brass items, but they are engraved more precisely than this, and often feature Wayang puppets. This type of sketch-like engraving is from a specific part of India, but right now I don't remember which part.

 

Salt is too corrosive. It may be from a fancy spice tin called a dabba. A dabba is a round tin that has smaller ones inside for the various spices. I have a stainless steel one. I did find an image of an older one.
