Located in NY USA This been in my family for at least 80 -100 years. My grandmothers (born1889) friend gave this to her when she no longer had use for it. She lived in the prospect park area of Brooklyn growing up, rest of her life and all of mine, Long Island, NY The top center are two boards joined by wood dowels as is most of the construction. I have no idea what type of wood this is. It looks like someone tried painting gold on the ball of the claw foot and edge of table. The legs may have been stained black? But that could be original? Also table is 27" high so quite short! Thanks! Denise https://imgur.com/a/eWEerOg

More Chippendale inspired. Certainly antique but late 19th century at best.

Thank you. My phone and I are awful at pictures , the table looks much nicer in person I love it! I’m not selling it but wanted an idea on the history of the table. I guess without any makers marks at all. ‍♀️
