INFO/THOUGHTS ON HAITIAN PAINTING w/NO SIGNATURE

I bought this in a online auction (Maxsold) of a house in Coral Gables (a very nice suburb of Miami) - I didn't see any autograph on it in the pictures but thought that was just because of their size.
But when I won it & picked it up I saw it didn't have a signature!
Also it's on a unusual board (last photo behind cardboard backing).
Any thoughts on it? Any way to find out who the artist is?
I like Haitian art & I have a few by well known artists (including a Jacques-Enguerrand Gourgue you guys helped identify for me - and I just sold on eBay Sunday) & I like this one; it isn't factory art, right?

It does look decorative to my eye but... I'm not knowledgable about Haitian art. Think I read a new member collects in that area; perhaps she'll see and weigh in.

The thing that looks the weird to me, is all'a that thin masonite across the back - is that hiding something? Suggest you check behind it.

 

I collect haitian art. This piece is a commercial painting made for tourists. You can easily find identical copies of this one around every Haiti's resort.
