Info wanted, pot and metal of some kind

Hi, im looking for more info on this piece i have, i have had this quite a few year and have searched high and low across the internet looking for information but i havnt got anywhere as of yet. This is what i think is an icecream man made out of pot maybe, sitting on some kind of metal trike with basket at the back. Thanks in advance for any info given

 

why would a chef have an ice cream on a tricycle with a basket ???

I bet you've had this since maybe the 80s or 90s? Would I be correct? The paint job and the general form remind me of "kitchen decor" of that period. A lot of French and Italian looking chefs and butlers. This one is certainly different, but it's in the same general theme.

 

I was going to say much the same as bakers.
During the late 1980s/90s there was a decorating craze for Chef's of all sizes and materials. Towels, salt and peppers, chalkboards.

Most likely imported from one of the Asian countries.

 

I agree...late 1990-2000 Chef motif was in. I have a giant Mario with a chalk board packed up in the garage. My better half keeps threatening to unpack him...I cringe. Just doesn't work in the new house!

I don't know Bronwen, there was only a very few selections back when I was small, Snofrutes wasn't one of them. I imagine that Snofrutes is pronounced Snow Fruits ... Joy.
