Mamod Live Steam Engine Model Boat

    Length of 94cm

Please can anyone tell me any more information about this boat, is it a hobbyist creation or would it have a model number? I would also appreciate it if anyone can tell me how much these are generally worth.

    Many thanks in advance for any information! IMG_20201105_035729.jpg IMG_20201105_035928.jpg IMG_20201105_035816.jpg IMG_20201105_040017.jpg IMG_20201105_035729.jpg IMG_20201105_035928.jpg IMG_20201105_035816.jpg IMG_20201105_040017.jpg

Mamod were produced in the UK from 1937.
    My brother had one.
    They came in kit form.
The only problem with the boats was you could not steer them unlike remote control electric ones.

    They fetch good prices.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

My oldest brother was into the steam engines....if it didn't work....he'd make it work!!! He loved that stuff!! If that's for sale, have they said if it's running or not??? Provided a video of it running??? VERY COOL!!!

Thank you to everyones responses and giving their time up to help with comments, helpful information and advice!!!

I'm not sure if it is running I believe mamod engines are not too complicated and can often be put right if not working.

Does anyone think this is a marriage of Mamod steam engine and model boat?

    OR

Are they often put together or is the boat a complete set by Mamod and are sold together?
